Ilocos Experience (Day 2) - Malacanang of the North, Paoay Church & Cape Bojeador

For our second day, we had buffet breakfast at Fort Ilocandia, which is sooooooo goood! Too bad i wasn't able to take pictures since i left my camera at our room. :( After our breakfast we had an orientation/seminar about the history and tourism of Ilocos Norte.

  Yey! Perfect Jumpshot. haha.

We started our tour to Paoay Lake, Malacanang of the North and Paoay Church around 10am so imagine the heat we had encountered, haha. Good thing it was kinda windy that day and we were up north so it was a little cool.

    Paoay Lake.

Malacanang of the North, here are some photos i took inside, mejo low quality yung photos since my camera was about to give up on me that day, haha :P

This photo doesn't give justice to how big this bathroom is, it has chandelier that I didn't include while taking picture (ughh, what was i thinking, i need to study the art of photography more.haha)

Madam Imelda Marcos was so sexy during her younger years. :)

And yes, im a fan of hers! hihi. She's so elegant but simple, yet so powerful. :")

They have really really big rooms, its so very sosyal. haha

After our tour at the Malacanang of North, we went to Paoay Church! I was so excited because the church is a world heritage site and im just fascinated with things that has history and nakaka proud kasi talaga! We were also told that the church was made out of seashells and corals so could you hear my mermaid self be giddy and excited? plus remembering when Mario Maurer shoot his film with Erich G here in the same church, so it makes the kilig feeling to a whole new level, haha. so arte sorry! ✌

I feel like im in Thailand whenever seeing this photo. haha. Just look at the architecture of the church!

See how happy i was? Hahaha

Some photos are from Ellyn Sagun! :)

After Paoay church, we went to A Lighthouse called Cape Bojeador.

Climbing up was really stressful since it was really high plus the sun was like at 1 o'clock, But! we are really awed at the view the welcomed us at the top.

See what i mean? Its just really breathtaking.

Too much pictures in one post, haha! Sorry for that, i'll just have a seperate photo diary for our Bangui Windmill and Pagudpud beach pictures :)

xo,
Elai :) ❤
